Wow,
thank you!
I'm so happy!
I should probably give you all an update on what I'm actually up to at the moment, considering that my updates are few and far between right now.
This is partly because I'm working on making my art style more "mature". I'm rather sick of the manga style, now, and besides, I think my art is starting to move away from that anyway. So from now on, anything you see from me will still be my style of drawing, just with added noses. XD I'm hoping to start uploading more stuff soon.
3 months in at university, and I've decided what pathway on my course I want to follow - Animation.
I think it'll suit me! Hence why I'm trying to improve myself - my dream is to work for Disney or Pixar. I know I've got a long way to go, though, so any advice or tips from anybody reading this who has more experience than me, particularly in regards to getting an art-based job, I'd really appreciate that!
I'm also working on a number of projects that the moment:
1) My pet project with Charlie, Daniel and Rob. I've almost refined their story completely, now, but I think I'd still like to put more illustrations up so you can get to know the characters forst before I start to show the whole things to everyone.
It's still under the working title of 'Growing Pains', but I'm bored of that now (it's been called that for 3, 4 years!!!) so I'm attempting to come up with a more interesting title.
2) Boulevard. That's all I'm going to really tell you on that front, but it's linked to one of the boys from the above story. Suffice to say, I
love the whole premise of this one, but that's all you're getting to know for now. >
3) My lovely little magical Omega lot, who've only appeared in one picture so far in my gallery. It's the first of two projects that I've worked/am working on with a very good friend of mine, who is also an incredibly imaginative and accomplished writer in her own right. Omega's pretty much finished in terms of a first draft between the two of us, but it's still got a lot of editing to make it comic-able.
4) The second project we've only just began work on is a steampunk-based comic. It's called 'The Chronicles of the Seven Crystals', to give it a name which mirrors that good ol' Victorian pomp and circumstance way of thinking. It's only in its very early stages at the moment, but it's definitely got the potential to be very exciting!
So... yes! ^-^ Those are all my current projects, and I promise that you'll be seeing much more of them now than you have in recent times, as well as other random doodles, ideas, and other things.
Well, this is now getting FAR too long, so I'll break this off here. Once again, THANK YOUUUUUU for the views! Take care, and I'll update again soon!
